Prison to employment

Emerge Career collaborated with CoreCivic Adams Transitional Center and the Colorado Department of Corrections to reach out to individuals nearing release.

Joining the movement

Working directly with CBOs on the ground, Emerge Career recruited participants to join the program. We built over 40 partnerships through this work.

A win-win-win initiative:

  1. Jobs for re-entrants: average base salary of $76,000
  2. Taxpayer savings: research from MNDOC shows that reentry employment services decreased the risk of re-incarceration by 55%
  3. Employees for companies: research shows that second-chance employees are more motivated and loyal
