CDL Permit Prep in Harlem: 5 Attendees, 3 Exams Booked

On Thursday, May 14th, Emerge Career hosted a Study Hall session in Harlem. Five attendees spent the afternoon working through CDL permit practice questions over pizza, breaking down answer choices, and getting clear on what the CLP exam actually tests.

Three of the five attendees already had their permit exam booked- including Vincent, who's scheduled for May 15th, the very next day. Two of those three had been to Emerge events before and came back to tighten up their prep. Every attendee rated the session a perfect 5 out of 5, and the group's NPS averaged 9.6.

"I Have More Knowledge Than I Thought"

That was Damat's takeaway from the session. It's a line that captures what Study Halls are really for- not just drilling questions, but showing people they're closer to passing than they think. A lot of students walk in assuming the CDL permit exam is some impossible hurdle. It's not. It's a written test with a known question pool, and with the right prep, it's very passable. Emerge's sessions are designed to close the gap between what you know and what you think you know.
