Nine justice-impacted New Yorkers prepped for the CDL permit exam at Neighbors In Action in Bed-Stuy. Three had already booked their test, with exams set for June 18 and June 25.

Seven justice-impacted New Yorkers spent two hours at Bronx Hype in Mott Haven prepping for the CDL permit exam. Several walked out ready to test within a week, two with exams already on the calendar.

Our participation with MDC Brooklyn's informational resource fair showed that the demand for this model has outpaced our supply it and we need to continue pushing for additional expansions with our ecosystem partners. 600,000 people will be released from a corrections facility this year. The question isn't whether they want to work. It's whether we're ready for them.

Harlem Study Hall on 5/21 drew three students at different stages of the CDL path — including one already permitted and back to help newer students review.

Nine justice-impacted New Yorkers showed up to our Brooklyn Study Hall at Neighbors In Action in Bed-Stuy on 5/20. Four left with CDL permit exams booked or already taken.

Bronx Study Hall on 5/19 at Bronx HYPE in Mott Haven sent two students out with permit exams already on the calendar — a 100% booking rate from the room.

Three justice-impacted New Yorkers walked into Ravenswood Community Learning Center in Long Island City for free CDL permit prep on 5/19 — and one walked out with an exam booked for the next day.
